We're praying so hard for healing. There's got to be some options with promising results!

Hi Guys,
As I'm reading your last updates, I remember back (all too well) to when Michael was a baby and was so sick. I remember praying to God and not knowing exactly what to ask for, feeling afraid to "talk bossy" to God. So I remember praying to "Please help us to help Michael." So now I'm praying for Evan, please help us to help Evan. Love to all of you,
Tammie, Pat, Andrew, and Michael Kelley

Hoffmans:
I'm praying that the meds keep the pain at bay and that St. Louis will be a viable option.
Thanks for the update Myra
Love and prayers for all of you.

I am so truly sorry to hear this news. Because Sean has relapsed rhabdomyosarcoma I have researched clinical trials which I have discussed with his oncologist. I have read that GDC-0449 has had great success with Basal carcinoma and is in clinical trial for rhadomyosarcoma in adult patients. Currently there are trials for GDC-0449 and children with brain tumors. There is currently a clinical trial CT009688981 for refractory solid tumors in adults. Maybe they would consider "compassionate use" because Evan is under 18. Maybe you could discuss this with Evan's oncologist. I think there is a chance that this could help. I am truly sorry, I am only trying to help. I will continue to pray for Evan and your family.
